Prices for QuickBooks Products


My first concern is doing what’s best for you, my client. So I’ll send you to Costco for QuickBooks Pro, QuickBooks Premier, and QuickBooks for Mac versions if that’s where at the lowest price is today.  Sometimes I can  meet or beat their prices, especially if you need multiple user licenses. Remember, while most software sources including Intuit direct sales will sell you whatever they can talk you into buying, I’ll only sell you the product that is the right fit for your needs, and I’ll assist you in determining that solution free of charge.  Will those online discounters do that for you? Or will they take your money and let you fend for yourself when you discover you’ve made the wrong choice?

 

QuickBooks Enterprise   is now sold on an annual subscription basis only. Choose between Silver, Gold, or Platinum level based on the features you need. I’ll explain the differences to you so you don’t spend more than you need to.

Be sure that your POS computers meet all of the minimum requirements for running QuickBooks Point of Sale.  2nd Site can recommend an IT specialist in your area to help you with your computer selection and installation.

I strongly recommend exceeding the 2 GB RAM minimum requirement
by increasing it to at least 4 GB on the POS server workstation. 8 GB is even better. Maximize the number of USB ports. You will need one for each of the following that you choose to use: mouse/keyboard, credit card reader, pin pad, bar code scanner, receipt printer, report printer, tag printer, pole display, physical inventory scanner, flash drive or external backup drive. Avoid putting any of the printers, card reader, pin pad, or physical inventory scanner on a USB hub. The other peripherals will do fine on a powered USB hub.

The following supply list displaying standard retail prices will help you determine which supplies you may need to purchase for your receipt printer or tag printer. These may be purchased through 2nd Site or Intuit as a matter of convenience to you, but discounts aren’t available and you will also find these products online or at local office supply stores.

Payroll  Prices

Intuit offers an array of payroll options which change from time to time.  Last time I checked, Basic Payroll starts at $25 per month plus $2 per employee per month, for 1 to 3 employees. Enhanced Payroll starts at $39 per month plus $2 per employee per month, for 1 – 3 employees. But for more than just a handful of employees, Full Service Payroll is probably the best way to go unless you need job costing or multi-state employees’ payroll. At $74 per month (this is the discounted price through 2nd Site) plus $2 per employee you get unlimited payroll runs, including direct deposit, and all form filings and most tax payments are handled by Intuit, so it’s hard to beat.
